Paramount SEM telemarketer threaten me and would not stop calling for 45 minutes straight
I was called today by this company and the guy was rude telling me my business was horrible for the internet and i did not rank well. well i told him i wasnt interested and he basically told me good luck on finding customers and i told him i was getting plenty off the internet and he was over talking me and continued to put my business down .. and i will admit told him take me off your list and he was a jerk and hung up. well then my phone rang again from this number same number first off 619-225-7520 i did not answer.. then for 45 minutes straight he was calling private number 45 minutes straight.. well my worker pick it up and what he said was getting ready for bad reviews on your compny and hung up... well i called this company back and asked to speak to the supervisor and explained what happen and i heard him asked the supervisor and he said to him tell him i am busy and the one guy who i talked to said there was only 16 people there and they basically did nothing .. this is a scam company with telemarketers and they must have some really shady people working there .. please beware everyone.. because i was sitting on my computer tonight and keep getting messages that people are saying dreadful thingss about me obvious they have big time associate paths working at this company with all your personal info this is not good what so ever please beware of Paramount SEM 9701 Jeronimo Road Irvine, CA 92618 (760) 304-6478 or 619-225-7520

ReplyDeleteYou have it right! SEO is something you can do on your own especially now. These guys aren't even selling real SEO they are selling google places and all they do is create a cheap profile page and link your business to it. So you pay 199 a month and get a cheap looking garbage profile that isn't even specific for your company! They do this so if you cancel they can remove that page and you are stuck. They already took the business over when they sign up and you give them all the info so it is VERY hard for you to get your profile back.
First off registering your business with Google is FREE and linking it to your site gets you the same ranking they would get you. Period.
Also Paramount SEM is a reseller of 29 Prime, a REAL scam company. These guys hurt so many people that they have to change their name every few years. Went from Reliable Listings, Your Local Merchant, 29 Prime, and now Reliable Places all run by the same scam artist that just opens boiler rooms, promises a bunch of young people money to sell and hires them in a rotating door 10 a week and doesn't pay them anything since it is commission only and after a week or two they find out they are ripping people off and leave. Then they get nothing and he keeps all of these sales. It has hurt them so bad they are now trying to get re-sellers all around the world to sell their services thinking if there are 2000 company names out there all commission only the bad publicity wont follow them!
Google "29 Prime" and see! You can find where they pay for good reviews and cheat but those are on no name garbage review sites. Look at the real reviews like Yelp!
Also here is a site that has more of their aliases. It also has information on how to get some or all of your money back and how to file complaints that will actually count if you have been ripped off by this company as an customer, or as an employee.

Hey thanks for your great info this is killing small business owners starting home business or just a local company starting a new website and people calling them everyday asking them if they want to become #1 on Google. My question I always ask those SEO people when I dont hang up is how are you going to get me and the other 100 people you call today all #1 on Google? funny because I get all different responses and some just hang up or others just say good question. Really when is Google going to produce something to get rid of these SEO company's I am tired of the phone ringing all day and now truly they are getting smarter by purchasing local numbers and when they call you think maybe a potential customer and you answer once again a person operator with hundreds of people in the background on the phone selling the same service. This is not good quit selling over seas people are phone numbers thank android for call reject and this is where all my go.. Hope this will help the new business owner on not throwing there money away to rip off artist.

Yes, the fool just called my office and was very cheeky and hateful. Never do business with these idiots that cold call your office. If we need what they are selling we are smart enough to know where to find them anyway. Try reporting them to the attorney general's office in the state where they operate. A letter from the AG will usually humble them a little bit.

ReplyDeleteSteve don't give in to these guys, people see right through them they are upset because they spend so much money creating new names and signing resellers up to startup new company names in efforts to dilute the bad publicity and real scam that they have going. Ask yourself, do you know another company with this many aliases/scammy resellers?!?!
