1. The rug carpet doctor is not good for your carpets or upholstered fabrics. You should do it harmless, it will put way too much water into your padding or cushions or fillings in the upholstery. Making it easy for mold and mildew to grow, which will cause a bad smell. Or, it can start to dissolve your cushion under the carpet or upholstery. The Upholstery or rugs will be soaked for days, and stinky.
2. Who actually washes and sanitizes those rug doctors, rented portable steam cleaners and any other rented portable carpet and upholstery cleaning machines when they are returned? Someone just rents the carpet fabric cleaning machine and cleaned up bed bugs, mildew or pet urine or feces etc.
Lastly, the cleaning products (shampoo Soap) is horrible. It will remove the carpet or furniture protector and leave it open to dirt and staining and when leaving soap or shampoo in the fabrics without using the correct rinsing products will rapid soil and most of the time all the spots come back 2 times the size. So Many people do more damage cleaning there carpet or fabrics and waste money by renting the rug doctor and not doing the correct research on hiring a professional to steam clean with a truck mounted unit using detergents and hot steam with the correct rinsing products. This is a fact no a suggestion.
